THE FOLLOWING COURSE IS A 8 HOUR JHSC WORKSAFEBC COMPLIANT AND RECOGNIZED CERTIFICATION COURSE. PLEASE ENSURE YOU SELECT FOR THE CORRECT "QUANTITY" OF PARTICIPANTS WHEN PLACING YOUR ORDER. All members of a JHSC committee are required by law to receive their 8 hours training. 4 members must be present at each meeting (management & employee reps). COURSE MATERIAL
This course consists of Videos, PowerPoints, Sample Forms, Study Handouts and WCB Booklets on three sections: Joint Health and Safety Committees, Incident Investigations and Workplace Inspections.

The risk of failing the written exams is very low.
- Complete all 3 exams and email the exams back to us for marking (JHSC, Accident Investigation and Workplace Inspections). You can scan the exams or take pictures of each exam page when emailing us the exams. The exams will be marked within 1 to 2 business days and a certificate of completion will be emailed to the individual taking the exam (or to the person who made the purchase).
CERTIFICATION
Complete the final exams (3 in total) and forward all the exam(s) pages to the email provided to you on the exams - by PDF scan document or by taking pictures of each exam page (information will be provided on the final exam copies). The exams are mostly multiple choice but do have some written component sections. Answers to the exams are in the PowerPoints. All participants will pass this course.
Your exam(s) will then be marked by one of our consultants and your signed certificate of completion will be forwarded to you by email within 1 to 2 business days. 2026 Joint Health and Safety Committee Policy and Procedure Template BC
Aside from providing all your Joint Health and Safety Committee Members with 8 hours of training, every employer must ensure that a proper JHSC policy and procedure, including terms of reference, is in place as part of their overall health and safety program. Your newly formed joint health and safety committee in BC must establish its own rules of procedure, sometimes called terms of reference. As of April 03, 2017 WorkSafeBC requires that all potential joint health and safety committee members in BC must receive 8 hrs of instruction in JHSC Training BC. GG Health and Safety Consulting is proud to present our 8 hour online JHSC training BC (JOSH Committee Training BC) course which meets and exceeds all new WorkSafeBC requirements. Our online 8 hour JHSC joint health and safety committee BC online training course, will assist employers and participants on how to start-up a committee at your workplace, how to effectively implement a JHSC, duties and functions of members and as a team, and the OHSR regulation.

Complete the final exams (3 in total) and forward all the exam(s) pages to the email provided to you - by PDF scan document or by taking pictures of each exam page (information will be provided on the final exam copies). The exams are mostly multiple choice but do have some written component sections. Your exam(s) will then be marked by one of our consultants and your signed certificate of completion will be forwarded to you by email within 1 to 2 business days. We will match the incoming number of exams to your order total.
Certificate of completion is valid for 2 years. A mark of 80% must be achieved in order to receive a certificate of completion. Participants are able to repeat the course three times in efforts to achieve the pass mark. Nobody fails the course.
A Minimum of 4 members must be present at your monthly JHSC meeting. All members must be certified and trained. It is recommended to also train 1 to 2 alternates. 50% can be management reps and 50% can be employee reps. You cannot have more management reps on your committee than employee reps. For example 2 managers; 4 employees is good. Employee Reps must be elected by the workers.

COURSE MATERIAL
This course consists of Videos, PowerPoints, Sample Forms, Study Handouts and WCB Booklets on three sections: Joint Health and Safety Committees, Incident Investigations and Workplace Inspections.

- Once payment has been processed, all the study material will be automatically emailed to your provided email address. You may then forward the study material by email to each participant. There is no time limit to complete this course and it is self paced. Each participant receives up to 3 attempts to pass the exams and must receive a 80% minimum mark on each exam. The risk of failing the written exams is very low.
- Complete all 3 exams and email the exams back to us for marking (JHSC, Accident Investigation and Workplace Inspections). You can scan the exams or take pictures of each exam page when emailing us the exams. The exams will be marked within 1 to 2 business days and a certificate of completion will be emailed to the individual taking the exam (or to the person who made the purchase).
CERTIFICATION
Complete the final exams (3 in total) and forward all the exam(s) pages to the email provided to you on the exams - by PDF scan document or by taking pictures of each exam page (information will be provided on the final exam copies). The exams are mostly multiple choice but do have some written component sections. Answers to the exams are in the PowerPoints. All participants will pass this course.
Your exam(s) will then be marked by one of our consultants and your signed certificate of completion will be forwarded to you by email within 1 to 2 business days.
