Course Length: 1 Hour Our Online WHMIS 2026 certification training course BC near me is in full compliance with the BC Occupational Health and Safety Regulations & Workers Compensation Act. In BC all employers are required by law (WorkSafeBC) OHSR and Workers Compensation Act) to provide Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) training and instruction to all employees who are in contact with or in close proximity to any materials (hazardous materials) defined as a ‘hazardous product’ under the Workplace Hazardous Materials Information legislation. Hazardous materials may cause serious health problems in workers or fires or explosions in the workplace. WHMIS was updated in 2025 to align with the Globally Harmonized System of Classification and Labelling of Chemicals (GHS) developed by the United Nations. The updated classifications, labels, and safety data sheets improve communication, clarity, and worker safety. Although the system changed, the responsibilities of workers, employers, and suppliers did not. Our online WHMIS 2025 training course will cover all information on how to recognize WHMIS symbols (pictograms), read supplier labels and workplace labels, how to read material safety data sheets (MSDS’s), and worker training/education programs.

VIRTUAL WEB TRAINING VIA ZOOM PLATFORM The following courses will be conducted LIVE by our instructor by ZOOM web training. Each student can have access to a personal PC with internet or you can situate your team in a classroom and project our instructor from an audio/video setup. We do not provide in person training. During this training course the instructor will conduct face-to-face training along with powerpoint presentations, worksafebc workbooks, forms and instructional videos. ** Time Frame: 9:00 am to 12:00 pm (3 Hours) ** 1 x 15 Minute Coffee Break ** CSA Standards and WorkSafeBC OHS Regulation compliant ** Certificates will be issued by email after completion of course ** Course materials and workbooks will be emailed prior to course ** Cancellation Policy: Contact us at least 5 days prior to your class for a full refund.
