Employers are required by law to ensure that work is being conducted safely, and to protect their workers from all work-related hazards, including exposure to infectious diseases. All company employees must be trained in bloodborne pathogen procedures and employers must comply and provide the necessary training in order to reduce or eliminate worker injuries.
